In the name of Allah, the most Gracious the most Merciful

Concluding remarks of Arbaeen Hussaini of the year 1443 AH

“Praise be to Allah who has guided us to this path, and if Allah had not guided us, we would not have been guided; surely the messenger of our Lord has come with the truth.”

This year and every year millions of the followers and lovers of the path of Imam Hussain (a.s) who spread from Najaf to Karbala represent the stand of the noble people and give the world the message of justice, happiness, security, love, brotherhood, sacrifice and opposition to oppression and imperialism. When we do so much service for the sake of Allah in the service of tens of millions of pilgrims in Iraq for many days, it is not a favor to anyone, nor do we expect rewards and thanks from them. Rather, we consider it our duty and give thanks for the blessings of God Almighty، Who has chosen our holy land to be the abode of His chosen saints, and has chosen us as the owners of this land. So it is our responsibility to honor the pilgrims who make us worthy of this blessing and to welcome the government of justice which the Promised Imam Mahdi (May God bless him and grant him peace) will establish on this blessed land and He will make it His capital city and fill the whole world with peace and bliss. Indeed, the enemies considered this gathering as our fault and spread doubts and suspicions about it because they do not have the insight by which they realize the greatness of this sacred occasion and its blessings on humanity in the past, present and future and it is enough for us that it reflects the love for the Ahl al-Bayt (as) which Allah has commanded to have.

Say, [O Muhammad], “I do not ask you for this message any payment [but] only good will through kinship.”

And in this gathering there is guidance for the truth for many people, and allegiance to follow the path of the martyrs, the righteous and the pious. We ask for a miracle so that the truth of these rites may be proved by it, and there are many miracles in it for the people of intellect, and this is the highest and noblest of them which all the participants have expressed with sincerity and self-sacrifice, the example of which is not found in the whole world today which is immersed in materialism.

But I want to draw their attention to just one of these miracles, and that is a gathering of ten million pilgrims who walk side by side for several days and gather in crowded places and on the way. The medical camps in the area - which we asked - did not record a single case of covid 19.

The daily number of coronary cases in the provinces of Iraq used to be over ten thousand before this occasion and decreased to two thousand during the Arbaeen (forty) days. However, in the first year, when thousands of people gathered in the grounds of London, the number of Corona cases increased exponentially and exceeded fifty thousand daily. However, most people in Britain have been vaccinated. And the unique thing is that it happened at a time when people were celebrating the end of the lockdown caused by Corona and called it Independence Day. And keep in mind that this statement of mine does not include opposition to medical instructions received from specific directions, but I am speaking of an actual matter. Indeed, the observance of divine rites plays a major role in inculcating faith in the hearts of the people and we cannot imagine what will happen to them without them when they return to their former ignorance like other nations as it happened when they deviated from the teachings of the guiding prophets.

May God always send down His blessings on us and protect our dear Iraq and other Muslim countries from the conspiracy, evil and deceit of the enemy and keep us steadfast on the path of persistence. Indeed, He is the Guardian of blessings.
