Imam Hussain (a.s), the movement of awareness and reform

 In the name of Allah

Imam Hussain as the movement of awareness and reform

Considering the month of Muharram as a golden opportunity we would like to draw the attention of preachers, poets, the owners of mawakib and the common believers to two crucial and significant things and these are awareness and reformation. Imam Hussain (a.s) stated them as the objective and purpose of his stand against cruelty and tyranny. Imam Sadiq (a.s) also has stated these two: things in his ziarat of the day of Arbaeen)

“Imam Hussain sacrificed his life for you, to save your servants from ignorance and misguidance.” And Imam Hussain (as) himself has clearly stated the purpose of his stand in his various sermons. In one place he says: ([1])

(I went out to seek reform in the nation of my grandfather Muhammad (peace be upon him) I want to enjoin good and forbid evil, and follow the path of my grandfather Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the path of my father Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him))([2])

And this great goal has become the goal of the revelation of the divine laws, and that goal is to establish religion in the life of the individual and society and to bring people together on the basis of justice and truth. Allah says:

“He has ordained for you of religion what He enjoined upon Noah and that which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what We enjoined upon Abraham and Moses and Jesus – to establish the religion and not be divided therein.”

So, we are taking a new step and we hope that it would be one of the Hussaaini slogans. This includes the publication of books and pamphlets that reflect this conscious study of the movement of Imam Hussein (as). Similarly, the aim is to set up libraries in mosques, imambargahs, mukibs and organizations in which such books can be kept so that people can benefit from them as much as possible. If everyone donates a book to these libraries, thousands of libraries would be built in the month of Muharram alone and millions of books would be collected in them. And after the heavenly message, they will have a central role in preserving human being’s humanity and will advance the Husseini movement as a great cultural achievement.

The work that we started a few years ago, the believers took an active part in it, it was successful and fruitful by all standards and the results were blessed, Through it, thousands of students received their curriculum, and chairs and other essentials were provided to many schools. Many things were done that the

Ministry of Education was unable to do. The movement was truly a new conscious image of Husseini slogans that reflects the civilized face of the movement, and it is hoped that this will be the same step.

This invitation is not specific to our beloved country, Iraq, but to believers in all parts of the world. Maybe these countries need it more and it is better to combine it with activities that make people, especially young people, interested in reading and encourage them to read books. As one of these activities might be (read ten minutes and own the book) or select a part of the book and hold an information contest for it, or set prizes for those who summarize the book.

Allah Almighty has enabled us to give many sermons in this field, many of which have been collected in one book :(In the culture of rejection and reform of society ) and there are many books that present the modern requirements of the Husseini cause. We hope that these books will be reprinted and published, inshallah.
